Carefully Selected Accommodations
When planning our itineraries, we spend a lot of time thinking about the right accommodations to use.
Of course, all the hotels, lodges, camps and cottages that our clients stay at must fulfill certain sustainability and fairness criteria. Read more about this on the Sustainable Travel and Fair Travel pages. But of course, there is a lot more to consider when choosing just the right accommodation.
We prefer to use accommodations that are located in a beautiful setting, with the possibility of watching animals at a water hole or relaxing in a lush tropical garden. Of course, they must be safe and secure as well.
We want our guests to be comfortable and well looked after, with just the level of service they desire. Some clients prefer to have everything done for them, others actually like to be a little more independent.
We like accommodations that are built with natural materials and designed to create an atmosphere that fits the surrounding landscapes. Often, it is the small details that make a room special and that make the stay just that little bit nicer for our clients.
Generally, we prefer smaller accommodations because they are typically more appreciated by the kind of clients we tend to attract. However, this is not the most important point.
We build long-term relationships with all of our partners. With accommodations, this is particularly important because it ensures that we get the services for our clients that they have requested, every single time.
Last but not least, we are highly budget-conscious when choosing accommodations. And because we know very much about the different lodges, camps, hotels and cottages, our clients don’t always have to go for the most expensive option to get exactly what they want.
